Personal statement

Trading has been in our DNA since a hundred thousand years ago and it will continue to thrive in different times, as we employ different trading methods. Today, with the technological revolution, trading globally is as simple as a tap on your smartphone.

Global trade opens up opportunities for many businesses, bringing a bigger pool of customers and facilitating growth and expansion. However, it also poses many challenges in international logistics, handling cross-cultural differences and digital business management.

I am eager to gain more experience by life-long learning and self-improvement every day. I am keen on taking new challenges, exploring new territory of business, expanding my scope to different business dimensions. Taking the Master of Global Trade program is definitely a strategic move to enrich my knowledge and give me a glance at the business through different lenses.

The program also provides me  the necessary skills and knowledge to be an excellent global trade leader who is ready to take on the opportunities without fear of challenges. It is my privilege to get the Hinrich Global Trade Leader scholarship, it is not only for the financial support, but also for providing me an extensive network of global trade leaders in Hinrich Foundation Alumni Association. Through this course, we can learn from each other and “trade” our knowledge and experience effectively.
