Jake Colvin is the Executive Director of the Global Innovation Forum and Vice President at the National Foreign Trade Council.
As Executive Director of the Global Innovation Forum, Mr. Colvin Jake works with a global network of small business and nonprofit leaders, corporations and government officials to explore the role of technology and trade policies and programs in fostering resilience and inclusive growth.
As Vice President for Global Trade Issues at the National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC), Jake leads work to shape global trade rules on digital and climate issues and engagement with multilateral institutions including the World Trade Organization and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum (APEC).
Jake is a cleared advisor to the US Government as a member of the Trade and Environment Policy Advisory Committee. He has written for outlets including Business Week, Inc. and Politico, testified before the US Congress, and provided analysis for platforms including The Today Show, CNN, CNBC, Time Magazine and the Washington Post. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies and the University of Richmond.
