Personal statement

By pursuing a Master in International Affairs at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore, my goal is to enhance my understanding of regulatory compliance and global trade. Specifically, I aim to analyze the approaches adopted by Southeast Asian countries in developing and implementing sustainable policies to protect their interests and combat financial crime and modern slavery. Additionally, I seek to deepen my knowledge of the mechanisms and consequences of existing economic cooperations and public-private partnerships involving intergovernmental organizations, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and companies. Alongside the school's interdisciplinary curriculum and renowned faculty, I eagerly anticipate engaging with a diverse groups of peers to sharpen my analytical and leadership skills.

I am incredibly grateful and honored to have been chosen as a Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholar. The financial support and opportunities provided by this program allow me to collaborate with an exceptional community of scholars and global trade experts through research and educational initiatives. Armed with this knowledge and experience, I am confident that I can establish a lifelong network and contribute to the advancement of sustainable global trade.
