Personal statement

I witness the dynamic world of business every day on the streets, at my workplace and with the people I have met throughout my years overseas and in Vietnam. Businesses undergo constant challenges throughout the developments. The impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic have motivated everyone to adapt to new ways of working and rethink their strategies to survive and grow.

For the past five years, I’ve had the chance to be a part of Jardine’s trainee program and working with Dairy Farm International business under the Guardian Health & Beauty division. I have gained first-hand experience of the business from the ground up. It led me to realize that no matter what role I want to play in the business world, it is essential to understand deeply the basic principles and be up to date.

At this point of my professional development, I strongly aspire to shape my thinking by joining the Master of Global Trade at RMIT University through the Hinrich Foundation’s pathway of aspire, learn, grow and lead. I am excited to keep obtaining academic knowledge and stay updated with the world’s trade and commerce. This will also present me to new things I have not known or experienced.
