Scholar background

Based in Vietnam, Trinh is a seasoned strategic buyer in the food and beverage industry. With nearly a decade of experience, she's made significant contributions to Nestlé, the world's largest food and beverage company. Trinh currently serves as the Local Sourcing Manager - Technical & Logistics.

Trinh began her career at Nestlé Vietnam as an Operational Buyer. She then embarked on a two-year international assignment at the company's Philippines office. Upon returning to Vietnam, she joined the Procurement Department, where she implemented sourcing strategies for vendors across various technical and logistics categories.

Trinh holds a bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade from the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City. She went on to complete her Master of Global Trade at RMIT University through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship Program.

Personal statement

I have gained a wealth of experience through working in a professional corporate environment. I am passionate about developing as a leader and always strive to further my skills. Working in international business has shown me the becoming more competitive in global markets requires further education.

The Master of Global Trade Scholarship will provide me with a broad range of knowledge that will empower me to better understand the intricacies of the business world. Being accepted into this prestigious program will not only allow me to become a strategic leader in the dynamic world of  international trade, but will also inspire me to contribute to the innovation and advancement of sustainable trade across global value chains.

I am proud to join the Hinrich Foundation community, and am looking forward to expanding my professional network and building partnerships across different industries. With my passion to achieve, I am excited to be exposed to the teachings of this Program and to take my career to the next level.
