Alumni background

Trinh is an accomplished strategic buyer in the food and beverage industry with nearly a decade of experience at Nestlé, the world’s largest food and beverage company. She currently is the Strategic Sourcing Analyst, overseeing procurement for the Asia, Oceania and Africa region, following her role as Local Sourcing Manager for Technical and Logistics.

Trinh began her career as an Operational Buyer at Nestlé Vietnam and later undertook a two-year international assignment at the company’s Philippines office. Upon returning, she joined the Procurement Department, where she developed and executed sourcing strategies across various technical and logistics categories.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Foreign Trade from the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City and earned her Master of Global Trade from RMIT University as a Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholar.

Personal statement

I have gained a wealth of experience through working in a professional corporate environment. I am passionate about developing as a leader and always strive to further my skills. Working in international business has shown me the becoming more competitive in global markets requires further education.

The Master of Global Trade Scholarship will provide me with a broad range of knowledge that will empower me to better understand the intricacies of the business world. Being accepted into this prestigious program will not only allow me to become a strategic leader in the dynamic world of  international trade, but will also inspire me to contribute to the innovation and advancement of sustainable trade across global value chains.

I am proud to join the Hinrich Foundation community, and am looking forward to expanding my professional network and building partnerships across different industries. With my passion to achieve, I am excited to be exposed to the teachings of this Program and to take my career to the next level.
