Personal statement

Over the past seven years working in the FMCG marketing sector, I had the privilege of acquiring valuable working experience at some of the largest corporations in Vietnam. In my current role, I have been involved in many international market expansion projects in Cambodia, Myanmar and the Philippines. From this, I truly understand the challenges and complexity which the company has to manage when entering a new foreign market from a strategic global trade perspective, rather than just the marketing side.

I strongly believe that there is no better option to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and work experience, as it relates to international trade, than the Master of Global Trade program. By leveraging the knowledge obtained from this program, I expect to be able to apply my expertise to develop holistic market entry strategies and find strategic solutions to increase Vinamilk’s business growth on a global scale.

The MGT not only provides a solid foundation and a framework to acquire professional knowledge to be more competitive in the market, but also provides a platform to expand my business network across multiple industries. On top of that, the course will give me a great opportunity to grow my leadership capabilities and take the next steps in my professional development. This is truly a milestone to transform me to become a global trade leader in the future.
