Personal statement

With the 4.0 industrial revolution, the global economy has been changing swiftly. International trade plays a major role in creating a borderless global market with ecommerce and fast delivery.

The global trade sector requires a solid understanding of operations and management skill sets with the ability to be flexible, adaptive and agile. Fortunately, the RMIT University Master of Global Trade is an ideal program to equip myself to become successful in my career and contribute meaningfully in a leadership capacity to my organization.

The Hinrich Foundation’s pathway of aspire, learn, grow and lead is very exciting. Nowadays, businesses, economies and marketplaces around the world are interconnected and more interdependent than ever before. The knowledge, skills and network from the MGT program will develop my critical and analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as provide me with an international perspective.

This will sustain my growth towards becoming a global trade leader, which aligns with my organization’s strategy. I am strongly connected with the VF purpose: “We power movements of sustainable and active lifestyles for the betterment of people and our planet.” To live and to work with this shared commitment and ambition sharpens our focus and informs our decisions properly.

The MGT is an excellent place to build a professional business network.

The program also creates an environment where I can develop and demonstrate independent and collaborative research capability. I can present solutions to complex problems by applying efficiently a range of appropriate techniques and knowledge I will learn from the program.
