Scholar background

Pankaj has over 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry across Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos. He currently serves as the Business Head for Vega Healthcare in Vietnam.

Previously, Pankaj held the position of Country Business Manager at Hetero Labs, a leading pharmaceutical company. During his tenure, he managed the company's Vietnam team, focusing on marketing strategies and business development initiatives for the Vietnamese market.

Prior to Hetero Labs, Pankaj served as the Country Manager for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos at Troikaa Pharmaceuticals. In this role, he was responsible for driving growth and market expansion across the assigned territories.

Pankaj holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and a Master of Global Trade from RMIT Vietnam. He earned the latter degree as a Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholar.

Personal statement

For a progressive professional like me, the Master of Global Trade program offers enhancement of my skill set and strengthening of my international business development techniques. With this course, I aspire to have in-depth knowledge of global trade, which is the integration of business, people, finance and technology, and apply it for my organization’s growth.

Through the guidance and knowledge shared by the industry veterans, I will be able to develop the necessary skills for decision-making and cross-functional activities within my role.

The MGT program will demonstrate how to solve problems in different business departments, while managing the entire operation and several teams. Through the program, I will learn tools for growing a business and preparing for the risks,  understanding logistics, and using the latest technology to provide quick solutions to my organization and our clients.

With the knowledge I will learn from the program, the Hinrich Foundation’s community of experts and the RMIT University faculty, I am confident to become one of the most valuable assets in my organization. I will enhance my global leadership skills and become more updated with the market trends and industry insights.

I believe I am on the right path towards my career growth with my invaluable experience and this indispensable learning opportunity through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship.
