Personal statement
Being a Regional Executive in the digital technology and service sector in Asia for the past four years, I came to realize that the future, not only of expertise or domain knowledge but also global value chains, could be disrupted through the uncertainty and digital capability of economies. Technology, in general, can be one of the key disruptors of any global trading activity.
To have a truly sustainable global organization, people, like myself, need a more strategic approach to global trade practices, regulations and trends. A higher education experience from global experts is crucial to my self-development to become a more impactful leader in the Asia region.
I am amazed to see how knowledgeable, professional and passionate the Hinrich Foundation team and its experts are in the way they teach and interact with us in our learning sessions. With these activities, I have expanded my industry knowledge and understanding of global business challenges and opportunities as an entrepreneur. I have also understood the larger picture of sustainable business strategies in practice.
As a young leader, I am determined to always empower other young people, especially women, to continually develop themselves and make an impact for their companies, organizations and communities. I can only do that through valuable educational experiences like taking the Master of Global Trade program, which will empower me to become a more capable, future global leader.
