Gbenga Samuel Salau, a multiple award-winning journalist with The Guardian, is a graduate of Mass Communication, The Polytechnic Ibadan, and Communication and Language Arts, the University of Ibadan.

He joined The Guardian, Nigeria after completing the compulsory national youth service. As a reporter with The Guardian, he has covered events and attended conferences, workshops, and training within and outside Nigeria.

He has reported on religion, brands, and marketing. This is aside from reporting development issues across different sectors. He is a member of the Lagos State House Correspondents.

He is a recipient of the Promasidor Quill Award, Nigeria Media Merit Award, and NMMA Prize for Agriculture Reporter among others.
