Alumni background
Based in Myanmar, Win Oo is a media and communications expert with a robust journalism background, boasting two decades of professional and senior editorial experience. Currently, he works as a freelance communications and media specialist. He offers integrated marketing and communications services for international organizations including the European Commission, and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency.
Before his freelance work, Win Oo served as the Chief of Staff at Myanmar Consolidated Media and held the position of Editor-in-Chief at SME Myanmar, a business magazine dedicated to fostering the growth of small businesses and entrepreneurship.
In 2008, he earned his Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University through a Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship. He later received a Certificate of Excellence in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley.
