Thang Sawm Lian Tuang is a Production Technical Specialist at Geox Asia Pacific in Myanmar. The company is part of the Hong Kong-based wholesale footwear distributor of the same name. Thang is a seasoned supervisor with a solid track record the footwear manufacturing and plant management.

Previously, he served as the Supervisor at Shang Peng Cheng, an Adidas supplier based in Myanmar. He oversaw the production process and developed production guidelines and standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency.

Prior to his role at Shang Peng Cheng, Thang honed his skills as an engineer at companies including the Supreme Group of Companies, Zotaang Construction and Trading and Myanmar Mason Industry.

He received a master’s degree in Engineering from Mandalay Technological University and earned his master of Science in Global Production Engineering and Management from the Vietnamese-German University through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship Program.
