Alumni background
Ye Kaung “Victor” is a Journalist from Myanmar and an advocate of press freedom and human rights. Based in Washington, DC, USA, he is a Consultant at Radio Free Asia. Previously, he worked for Voice of America in Washington, DC, and Farmer Media, Save the Children and Myanmar Times in Myanmar.
Victor earned his Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2011 through the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship. He received his MA in International Media, Communication and Media Studies from the American University in 2015.
