Alumni background
Chandu is a senior business journalist with over 18 years of experience in news production, specializing in technology stories. He currently serves as the Executive Editor at Cyber Express in India. In this role, he liaises with cybersecurity researchers and coordinates the website's editorial coverage relating to corporate governance research, trade communication and cybersecurity reporting.
Previously, Chandu was the Intelligence Editor at ZeroFox, where he was responsible for providing daily intelligence updates on cybersecurity threats such as data breaches, ransomware attacks and regulatory announcements. He has also held a number of managerial positions at various multinational corporations including The Economic Times, SC Media UK and European Markets.
Chandu holds a Master's degree in Media Business Management from ICFAI University in India. As a Hinrich Foundation Scholar, he went on to earn his Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2015. Chandu further distinguished himself by receiving a Fellowship in Global Journalism from the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto.
