Bibekananda "Bibek" Sarker is a Senior Industrial Engineer at West Pharmaceuticals Services, a manufacturer specializing in packaging components and delivery systems for injectable drugs and healthcare products. He leads capacity mapping and development projects while also overseeing efficiency and productivity operations aimed at the reduction of waste within both production practices and across the supply chain.
Prior to his current US-based role, Bibek served as an industrial engineer at H&M Bangladesh, a Swedish multinational clothing retailer where he developed efficiency strategies. He leveraged his leadership skills to inspire, motivate and educate his team to ensure they remained aligned with project and supply chain objectives.
He earned his Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2015 through the VF-Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship.
