Personal statement

As the Regional Market Development Manager for a German electric bike startup, I am passionate about working in multicultural markets in the Asia Pacific. My interest is at the intersection of innovation, electric mobility and sustainable global trade, through which I can bring disruption in the last-mile delivery that benefits consumers, brands and cities.

Our company is in the process of establishing a manufacturing unit in Asia, with a keen focus on Vietnam. It is my responsibility to expand its presence in the fastest growing economy in Southeast Asia. With the scope defined by the Master of Global Trade program, I am poised to equip myself with crucial insights from subject matter experts. I am also excited to grow my network in the region through this opportunity.

RMIT University is the hub for innovation in Vietnam. The program will give me the ability to polish my knowledge and leadership skills with like-minded changemakers in the region to further develop additional projects in the region. I look forward to collaborating, designing and learning alongside other professionals in global trade who also believe that rebuilding the world, especially after this challenging year, cannot be done alone.
