Personal statement

When pursuing my study program under the Hinrich Foundation Global Trade Scholarship, I aspire to harness global commerce and supply chains to drive economic growth and social development. The dynamics of international trade which rest on economic gains from comparative advantage create the ideal platform for leveraging international relationships, transforming global commerce to achieve broader developmental goals.

To me, sustainable trade balances economic growth with global social equity. The Hinrich Foundation’s emphasis on this balance aligns perfectly with my professional goals and my efforts within my team, including establishing a partnership with SOS Children. The relationships and skills I will gain during the EGMiM program and through the Foundation will significantly enhance my career prospects and empower me to advance sustainability in global trade.

The Hinrich Foundation community will also provide invaluable support through mentorship, networking and collaborative opportunities. Engaging with experienced professionals and peers who share my passion for global trade will offer diverse perspectives and practical advice, helping me navigate complex trade environments and implement innovative solutions. The Foundation’s commitment to sustainable development will inspire me to integrate sustainability into my professional endeavors, promoting responsible and ethical trade practices.
