Celeste embarked on her journey with SAP, one of the world's largest software solutions providers. She initially joined as a Customer Officer and has ascended to the role of Chief of Staff to the President of the Asia Pacific - Japan office. In her current capacity, she assumes responsibility for leading and uniting cross-organizational teams in the pursuit of strategic initiatives aimed at driving success for SAP's customers and partners within the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to SAP, Celeste served as the Business Assistant to the CEO at Global Sources, a leading global B2B media company. There, she spearheaded strategic partnerships and played a pivotal role in business development. Additionally, she contributed to the growth of a Social Enterprise as an Evangelist, championing business model transformations to fuel the organization's expansion.

Celeste earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Hong Kong Baptist University. She completed her Master of Business Administration at the National University of Singapore, as a Hinrich Global Trade Leader scholar.

Personal statement

I was born in China and pursued my education in Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. My enduring curiosity lies in blending ancient Chinese philosophies with modern management principles in the realm of business. I find beauty in their differences and a certain chemistry in their compatibilities.

Throughout my career spanning Marketing, Sales, Strategy and Corporate innovation teams, I relish the opportunity for horizontal learning across diverse fields and remain open to embracing new challenges. I firmly believe that the most effective leaders possess the ability to think strategically and execute resiliently. Consequently, I value opportunities, both in educational settings and professional environments, to observe and learn from various leadership styles, ultimately shaping my unique understanding of leadership.

My aspiration is to become a bona fide global entrepreneur, and I am ceaselessly preparing myself for this journey. Success may not always align with my expectations, but we call a dream a dream because it keeps us motivated and enthusiastic about the endless possibilities, regardless of the prevailing reality. Ultimately, it is the journey itself that holds the most significance.
