Call for research proposals
The Hinrich Foundation supports research projects and initiatives that advance understanding of global trade issues and support policy development. While the Foundation’s International Trade Research program promotes research across many sectors, we strive to highlight areas of study that require more attention.
The program's focus areas are: sustainable trade, digital trade, trade and geopolitics, and foreign direct investment (FDI)
We invite researchers and organizations to submit proposals for research, which are considered twice during each calendar year; the deadlines for submission are 31 May and 31 October.
Upcoming deadline for submission: 31 May 2023
Submission requirements
We kindly ask that research proposals include the following information:
-
Name and credentials of the researcher(s)
-
Synopsis of the proposed research
We encourage the synopsis to include 2 to 4 questions that the research will address, and specify the method of research (primary or secondary research).
-

We publish articles of up to 1,600 words and papers of 3,000 to 4,000 words. All research products will be subject to the Foundation’s editorial review. -
